Pretty Little Things: Button Up

How about this bouquet for your Valentines Nuptials...

You have to admit, if you are trying to make a statement that you are not like all the "other" brides, you can ditch the red rose bouquets and give this funky button bouquet from Etsy a shot (love that place). I love the added bling detail.

Remember it's YOUR wedding, make it your own!

Pretty Little Things: How Ya Like Me Now...Pt2

I didn't make any New Years Resolutions this year but I DID commit to completing some much necessary business stuff. And how excited am I that I can actually check one thing off my list...well kinda two things.

FIRST
  • If you have been following since the start you knew that my business name was "A Little Bit A' this". The story is I was never really settled with the name but now I am TOTALLY in love with "JunePlumm Events". I made all the necessary legal changes and other changes, but there was one last change required. This blogsite URL was still in the old name because I just didn't want to invest the time in starting a new site and losing followers and starting from scratch. Well I finally bit the bullet ( because now it's an easier option) and changed my URL from "www.alittlebitathis.blogspot.com" to "www.juneplummevents.blogspot.com". So please make sure you are STILL following me (pretty please)
SECOND
  • I updated the design...take a look. I totally love it. I worked with the wonderful folks at Designer Blogs (Thanks Lara) and I couldn't be happier in the final product. So what do you think?
So much more to come. I can't wait!

Parties: Autasia's Casino Royale - A JunePlumm Event

" ...I just didn't want it to be ghetto". That was the beginning of our first conversation. From that point on, I knew we were going to have a good time.

Veronica wanted to throw her daughter a very special Sweet16. She said my daughter Autasia, is a smart, beautiful and very well behaved young lady and she deserves to have a fabulous party. Well they came to the right place. Me, Veronica and the deserving young lady Autasia sat down to put together a fun and fabulous and affair that is NOT ghetto and one that will make guests brave the winter elements to attend. And so Autasia's Casino Royale was born. Take a look at some of the festivities:

Crate and Barrel is one of my favorite stores. They have great range of practical home use and decor and the fact that they have products named "Camille" has me SOLD. It is a great must see for you brides preparing or thinking about preparing your bridal registry. They have a wide range of products that can appeal to every pocket.

Stop by Crate and Barrel and check them out or RSVP for one of their Wedding Parties on February 6, 13, 20 & the 27th to help you plan and organize your wedding registries.

Happy Registering

Planning: The Right Choice!

In the midst of finalizing details for a very special event (more on that later), we almost missed the news that JunePlumm Events was chosen to receive the Wedding Wire's Brides Choice Award for 2011. What does this mean you ask? Well it means you; are wonderful clients; had some really good things to say about us and our services and we couldn't be happier. It also means we were recognized as being in the top 5% of local wedding professionals.

So we at JunePlumm Events would like to take a moment and say an EXTRA special THANK YOU to our clients. We are honored to be apart of your lives and your special occasions and in case we haven't told you enough...we PUFFY heart you!

Take a look at what some of our clients had to say about us on Wedding Wire.

Pretty Little Things: Not Just For The Birds

No longer just for birds, Birdcages have long been popping up all over weddings. As decor, on stationary and the ever popular Birdcage veils. One of the great things about birdcages are the options to customize it so it is right for your event. You can:
  • cover/decorate with lace, tulle, or other finishing elements
  • fill with candles, flowers, or photos for alternative to the usual vase centerpiece
  • spray paint the cage in a color that compliments your occasion
  • choose a very simple or ornate style cage; one the suits the style of the event you are having
  • hang several birdcages from ceilings or outside branches/trees for an added decorative element

The birdcage may not work for EVERY event, but if it does, it's nice to know there are many ways in which to incorporate it.
